This is a case of 2' x 4' x 1" thick Rockwool ProRox mineral wool. The 6 pound per cubic foot density both insulates well and absorbs sound better than lower density mineral wools. Can be easily cut with a knife or serrated blade and will compress to fit in to gaps. SL960 is a dense insulation batt that needs to be supported for overhead applications. It is commonly used for exterior walls as well as for sound deadening within interior walls and ceilings. Similar to Thermafiber and other mineral wools.
- 6lb/ft^3 Rockwool ProRox SL960 Mineral Wool - 10 sheets of strong, rigid stone wool insulation
- Heavy insulation is excellent at absorbing sound, is fire resistant, and insulates well. Can be used in sound recording studios as it is has excellent sound dampening qualities.
