Can I use the griddle with the lid closed?

Yes! Unlike many other griddles, HALO Elite models are designed with a stainless hinged lid that can be closed while cooking. This helps your griddle heat up quicker, retain more heat, and use less fuel.
What is the griddle plate made from?

The HALO Elite series uses thick, hot-rolled steel for improved durability and rapid heat distribution.
Is this griddle compatible with Natural Gas?

Yes! However, you will need to purchase a separate conversion kit (HZ-3001-B). It takes just 15 - 20 minutes to convert. Note: Natural Gas burns cooler than propane, expect a 15% - 20% temperature decrease.
