Tencel fabric is made of natural plant fibers, which can be completely decomposed in the soil without pollution to the environment. It has the breathability of cotton, the durability of chemical fiber and the silky touch.
- The moisture absorption performance of Tencel is better than that of pure cotton. The moisture regain of cotton is 8%, and that of Tencel reaches about 12%.
- Tencel's breathability is also superior to that of pure cotton. The cotton’s breathability is between 200 and 500, while the Tencel can reach 1500, which is three times that of pure cotton.
- Tencel is softer than cotton. The roughness of the cotton fabric is 3.46, while that of the Tencel fabric is only 0.628.
